This workshop is aimed at sewers who are already confident with dressmaking and machine sewing techniques. During the session, you will learn how to cut and sew corset panels and construct two main run-and-fell seams designed to form boning channels. These seams will be left open so boning can be inserted correctly. You will also learn how to measure, cut, and file polypropylene boning ready for use. By the end of the class, you will have gained the skills needed to take on boning for corsets, dresses and drag costumes. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit
