254-Leadlight Textile Mosaics

Using scraps of fabric and a piece of plain black cotton, you'll learn how to create a jewel-toned textile mosaic that evokes the glow of modern stained glass. We will learn how to do this using different appliquÚ techniques including raw edge, reverse, and prepared-edge. You will be making a small panel, 12" square, that can then feature in a cushion cover or tote bag, or become part of a larger piece like a table runner or wall hanging. You will learn how to design your own mosaic pattern, or you can work with one of the tutor's prepared motifs. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit
