155-Make Your Own Leggings

This beginner friendly class will guide you through making your own pair of leggings using an overlocker. You'll be given leggings pre cut to your size, so you can focus on learning the construction rather than worrying about cutting out. There will be a choice of two OEKO TEX certified stretch cotton jersey fabrics. Step by step, you will be shown how to assemble the leggings on the overlocker and attach a soft yoga waistband. This waistband is straightforward to apply and very comfortable, making the finished leggings something you'll actually enjoy wearing. We'll also look at how to finish the hems on the overlocker, including adjusting the machine to create a gentle lettuce hem for a decorative waved edge. No previous overlocker experience is needed. You will be contacted to confirm the size of legging you want to make ahead of the workshop. All materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit This is an early morning workshop which will finish as the show opens for the day. There is a ú11 supplement for materials payable in cash on the day to the tutor.
