123-Sashiko Upcycling on Denim

During the workshop you will be introduced to creative textile upcycling through the visible mending and decorative stitching technique, Sashiko. The workshop encourages mindful making, gentle experimentation, and sustainable creativity. Materials will be available throughout the workshop to create beautiful sashiko stitches on and you are invited to bring along a denim garment such as jeans, a jacket, or a skirt to refresh, embellish and personalise, should you wish. Please note there is an optional supply list for this workshop. All other materials and full instructions will be provided in your workshop kit
