117-Make Your Own Shorts with Ruffles

This beginner friendly class will guide you through making your own pair of shorts with ruffle hems using an overlocker. You'll be given shorts pre cut to your size, so you can concentrate on learning how everything goes together rather than worrying about cutting out. You'll choose from two OEKO TEX certified stretch cotton jersey fabrics, both ideal for comfortable, everyday wear. Step by step, you will be shown you how to construct the shorts on the overlocker and add a simple waistband with elastic for a flexible fit. We'll then finish the hems by overlocking a ruffle directly onto the shorts, creating a fun and stylish detail that makes each pair unique. No previous experience with an overlocker is needed, this class is all about learning in a relaxed and supportive environment. You will be contacted to confirm the size of shorts you would like to make ahead of the workshop.
