078-Common Fit Problems and How to Fix Them

Have you ever made a garment from a sewing pattern only to find that it doesn't fit quite right? In this workshop we'll explore some of the most common fit problems encountered when sewing garments and discuss practical ways to improve the fit of your patterns. Using real garment examples and pattern demonstrations, we'll look at why issues such as gaping necklines, tight busts, excess fabric and pulling seams occur. Participants will learn how these problems relate to pattern shaping and how simple adjustments can help achieve a better fit. This workshop is ideal for you if want to better understand how garments fit the body and gain confidence in adjusting sewing patterns.
